1986 Jose Canseco Game-Worn, Signed A's Jersey (Rookie)
Jose Canseco was the story of the 1986 regular season. Baseball card collectors couldn't get enough of Canseco and his unprecedented combination of power and speed. This size "46" pullover was worn by Canseco when he made his big splash into the big leagues. Decent use is exhibited with fraying and scraping (back numbers) on the two-color tackle twill numerals. The NOB is sewn directly on and in green tackle twill. Green/yellow/green braiding surrounds the neckline while the same color scheme is captured on the ribbed sleeve ends. Secured in the inner tail is a Rawlings "The Mark of a Pro" tag and "Set 1 1986" flag designator. Canseco signed the verso and inscribed "86 ROY."
