2003 Ray Lewis Game-Worn Helmet
There's no tougher player in the NFL than Ray Lewis. More importantly, few excel at their position or play with sustained intensity as the Ravens’ middle linebacker. This helmet, was used by Lewis during the 2003 season and were sourced directly from a former team employee. The helmet shows solid multiple-game use. All decorative features are correct in their positioning, size, color hues, mil depth, and styling, inclusive of the unique striping, front and back customized bumpers, the NFL shield, the 9/11 flag, the gold-on-clear warning sticker, the three-colored numeric identifiers and the five-color side logos. Lewis’ unique open-eyed, full cage (with bull ring) mask is affixed with ’03 top clips and cross side clips. A leather, bolted-on, high hookup chinstrap (as worn by Lewis) is present with a major tear to the chin cup portion. The inner shell features VSR-4 padding (with accompanying sticker), a warning sticker and Lewis’ patented extra small jaw pads. The wear is solid inside and is equally impressive on the outside.
