1932 HOF Rick Farrell St. Louis Browns Complete Game Used Uniform.
One of only two known examples in existence. As such, we're understandably excited about this particular Hall of Fame ensemble, and have no doubt our excitement will be shared by serious collectors throughout the hobby. Although he played chiefly with second-division teams, Rick Ferrell was one of the greatest catchers of his (or any) age. In two stints each with the Browns and Senators, and another three years in Boston sandwiched between, he ultimately established the AL record with 1,805 games behind the plate, an incredible number considering Ferrell was handling a vast array of knuckleballers and legal-spitball pitchers of the era. Four button front with button path collar and sleeve trim. Beautiful fawn brown interlocking Stl. on left sleeve. Back numeral has been replaced and judging by the felt, it was done so by the club durning the period. "Farrell 3 32" is inscribed on the button path. Period Spaulding label.
