Rare Negro League Player Turkey Stearnes Signed Report Card.
Sister Mary of Sacred Heart Elementary must have been delighted to have the parent of Rosilyn Stearnes (an "A" student) sign this June 1954 report card. Now performing the duties of a proud father, the Negro League great signed ("8/10") the report card, "Norman T. Stearnes" acknowledged his review of this report as evidenced by his penciled signature on the reverse. "Turkey" Stearnes autographs are incredibly difficult to find, and to capture one on an interesting article like this one is even more so.
