The provenance behind this jersey is impeccable, it has a signed LOA from then General Managers of the Rangers Neil Smith stating this jersey was worn by Esa Tikkanen in the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals, were this jersey was originally sold and proceeds were donated to the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse. It also has a signed LOA by Barry Meisel of the MeiGray Group stating this is a 1994 Stanley Cup Finals home white New York Rangers Game-Worn jersey No.10 Esa Tikkanen and is on file in the MeiGrade system under number 100034.

Stated on the MeiGray LOA is "Because it had a consulting role in the transaction between the Rangers and B&E Collectibles, the MeiGray Group can confirm that B&E acquired and took possession of this jersey directly from the New York Rangers. And finally an LOA from the Spirit of the Game.

The jersey itself is a CCM mesh, with Cosby tagging in the collar and is a size 52. The sleeve ends were customized for Tikkanen, by the trainer. Elastic bands were put in to keep the wrist tight for Tikkanen, you can see the individual team repairs to reinforce this elastic band in the sleeve cuff. Inside the jersey on the fight strap is the blue Gerry Cosby stamp.
