1957 World Champion Milwaukee Braves Signed Ball with Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, et al.

One of the most desirable of all postwar team-signed balls, this trophy documents the culmination of an incredible season for the Braves, and the first time the world championship flag flew west of the Hudson since 1948. And no wonder - this lean mean Milwaukee roster is chockfull of All-Stars, eventual Hall of Famers and many of the greatest players of any era. They would leave the majority of the NL in the dust and take the Goliath of New York down in seven with the power of Aaron's bat (.393 for the Series) and Burdette's arm (three complete game victories!). The panels of this evenly toned ONL (Giles) ball hold twenty-five signatures from those '57 World Champs - signed in ballpoint. Warren Spahn ("9") singularly claimed the sweetspot. Then about the panels we behold Bob Keely, Gene Conley, Bob Taylor, Juan Pizarro, Ernie Johnson, Frank Torre, Bob Buhl, Fred Haney, Red Schoendienst, Connie Ryan, Hank Aaron ("7-8"), Johnny Logan, Nippy Jones, Dave Jolly, Carl Sawatski, Don McMahon, Andy Pafko, Del Crandall, Taylor Phillips, John DeMerit, Johnny Riddle (on the stamp), Eddie Mathews ("8"), Wes Covington and Lew Burdette. The ball and signatures rate an "8" overall and add up to a fabulous and genuine example of this very tough team ball with just about all one could hope in terms of completeness and overall appeal.
