![]() Don Larsen Signed 1956 W. S. Game 5 Ticket Stub (Perfect Game) - (PSA Encapsulted)Of baseball's many astonishing records - all those achievements that "will never be broken" - Don Larsen's perfect game is the most secure. (Indeed, it will likely never be equaled.) The '56 World Series was knotted, two games apiece, when Larsen took the mound that October 8th. There proceeded 27 Dodgers up, and 27 Dodgers down - nary a Brooklyn spike rested safely on first base. As fans settled into their seating assignments, little did they realize that history's most dazzling pitching performance was about to unfold. Of those fortunate patrons, one occupied Seat 3 in Row C of Section 8, and that fan's ticket stub has survived the ages - now arriving in this opportunity. At some point in the course of its half century, this particular ticket was signed by Larsen - an acknowledgement of his day of supreme renown. The signature, placed in felt tip, is "10" in quality and perfectly centered on the memento. The ticket has been PSA authenticated. Technically, it's VG due to the application of transparent tape along the borders of the reverse side. Otherwise, there are no creases, the front surface is clean, and it was properly detached at the gate. In proper display, this ticket is apparent EX/MT.
