 1968 New York Mets Team-Signed Ball w/26 Sigs. Incl. Seaver, Berra, HodgesThe New York Mets were a year away from being Amazin' in 1968. Most of the players who would eventually win World Series rings in '69 were a part of the previous squad. This NM ONL (Giles) ball, with rich stampings, is signed by the '68 team in blue ballpoint. The ball can be deduced to '68 because it includes Dick Selma and Bill Short. Selma's final season with the team was '68, and Short only appeared with the Mets in '68. The signatures average "8-9" and include: Tommie Agee, Yogi Berra, Ken Boswell, Don Cardwell, Ed Charles, Kevin Collins, Jerry Grote, Bud Harrelson, Gil Hodges (sweet spot), Cal Koonce, Jerry Koosman, Ed Kranepool, J.C.
