OE 1985 Yankees Program - Signed by Joe Morgan

This 1985 Yankees program honors long-time baseball coach and manager Joe Morgan, not the Hall of Fame player. Morgan signed the back in blue ballpoint (slightly mussed) and the penning rates "8-9".

Frank Rinella and Pittsburgh Post Gazette sportswriter Al Abrams shared a common bond in their love of sports. It was Abrams who was a newspaper lifer. After joining the Post Gazette in 1926, Abrams was the paper’s sports editor from 1947 to 1974.
Accompanying Abrams to many of the games was Rinella, a friend in the truest sense. The duo went to many Super Bowls, All-Star Games and even attended a couple of World Series.
American Memorabilia is proud to offer many of the treasures Abrams gifted Rinella through the years of their friendship. Other items come directly from Rinella’s extensive sports collection, which started in the mid ‘30s. Once Rinella secured his sports artifacts, he took great care of them and stored them with the utmost care. These have never been offered for public sale until now.
