Vintage 1940s Philadelphia Athletics (A's) - Neck Tie Clasp
Back in the day, whether you were traveling by plane or going to the ballpark it was an event to dress up for. This tie clasp originates from an old time collector and was used back in those days when a suit and hat were always necessary. It's dated to the 1940s and represented the Philadelphia A's with their logo. Back then, they were managed by Connie Mack, of course.
Nowadays, a collectible like this can also be used for vintage wardrobe flare. We all know how cool those guys on "Mad Men" look. Or how about that guy bringing tie clasps back on "White Collar"? Now all you need is a pocket square and a hat and you are ready for maybe even... dancing. Ok, we won't go that far.
