This 1985 sign reads; "Hit 4192, Pete Rose Keepsake 8-Page Section. Only in your Dayton Daily News and Journal Herald after Pete Breaks the record." Back in 1985 when Pete Rose was approaching the all time hits leader Ty Cobb, everybody wanted to cover the story. The Dayton Daily News would put these signed in newspaper dispensing machines in the city to promote the famous event and everyone wanted to be apart of it. This thick stock paper sign measures 10.5" x 16.5" and is green and white in color. Pete boldly signed his name across the 4192 in Blue felt tip pen.
