1960 World Series Game #2 - New York Yankees vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Ticket Stub (Yanks Won 16-3, with Mickey Mantle Hitting 2 HR's) (SGC Encapsulated as Authentic)

The 1960 World Series featured two great teams - the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NL and the New York Yankees of the AL. The most famous moment of the Series that went seven games was Bill Mazeroski's clinching home run in the 9th inning of that last game. The Pirates won their third World Championship. The Series featured many MVPs including Dick Groat, Roberto Clemente of the Bucs and Yogi Berra, Bobby Shantz, Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and Elston Howard.

Presented is a ticket stub from Game 2 at Forbes Field. The Yankees took this one 16-3 with the highlight being two home runs from Mickey Mantle. At this point, the Series was tied 1-1. Before the ticket was encapsulated by SGC as Authentic it was in a memory album. The reverse is clean.

This ticket stub comes from the collection from an accomplished member of the press. He attended many games during the era and kept many treasures from them.
