Oklahoma Governors First Day Covers FDC TLS Lot - Bellmon, Hall, Nigh & Boren

Presented is a collection of political ephemera related to the great state of Oklahoma. There are seven pieces in this collection. We took highlight type pictures so some some of the pieces in this lot may not be shown (see the detail list). The majority are First Day Covers FDCs that also have the original return postmarked envelope. The lot includes:

1) First Day Cover - FDC - featuring David Boren - Indian Centennial Migration of 5 Tribes to OK. - Oct. 15, 1958.  Outside return envelope has an Interphil stamp.

2) Typed Government Letter (TSL) David Hall  - signed first name only on his Gov. letterhead - dated Feb. 5, 1971.

3) First Day Cover - FDC - featuring Henry Bellmon - 50th Anniversary of OK. - June 14, 1957. Outside return envelope has Received Gov. stamped on it.

4) First Day Cover - FDC - featuring George Nigh with lengthy inscription. Will Rogers commemorative Nov. 4, 1948. Outside return envelope has Robert F. Kennedy stamp.

5) First Day Cover - FDC - featuring David Hall - OK Statehood Golden Anniversary June 14, 1957. He also signed back of outside return envelope that has America's Wool stamp

6) 1968 Envelope has Andrew Jackson & Big Brothers Racing - Thomas Eakins - not sure what this one goes with but it was part of the OK collection he sent in.

7) First Day Cover - FDC - featuring David Boren - OK Golden Anniversary June 14, 1957. Outside return envelope has Horse Racing stamp.

*This grouping originates from a large political collection. The consigner collected numerous first day covers, photos and mailings from both the state and federal government. The collection was too large and costly to authenticate. The majority of autographs in this consigner's extensive group appear to be hand signed however any or all could be stamped, auto-penned or secretarial because of the nature of gathering (via mailing).  Overall, some of the FDCs may have some slight lightening (from age/storage/mailing) but all average about an "8". See available photos for your own assessment .
