Irving Fryar Autographed Game Used New England Patriots Helmet worn during the 1991-1992 NFL Season

This is a beautiful vintage Irving Fryar Game Worn Helmet used during the 1991-1992 NFL season. You can tell it is from that season because it is the only season during his tenure with the Patriots that the facemasks were painted red, not the usual white as you can see in the picture section of this auction. The helmet shows amazingly great use. You can see every hit he took on this helmet that season. Players back then did not get new helmets every game like they do now. A player got his helmet at camp and as long as it didn’t fall apart, he wore it until the season was over. And, as a bonus, it is autographed on the back of the helmet by Irving himself. It is a true one of a kind. I have looked all over and never seen on like it. It really just speaks for itself. Rare. NO RESERVE!!
