1934 Tour Of Japan American All-Star Team-Signed Baseball 22 Autographs Incl. HOF(s): Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez, Heinie Manush etc. (JSA Full LOA)

Matsutara Shoriki a newspaper owner in Japan wanted to find out how popular baseball could become in his country. So, he helped organize the biggest exhibition of Japanese ballplayers against Americans in 1934. On the opposing side, Connie Mack staffed the team of America's best players to go up against Japan's finest for an 18 game exhibition series.  

The games drew thousands and made the 1934 Tour of Japan one of the most celebrated international sports events of its time. This Official Spalding (red/black) clear-coated baseball was signed by 22 the majority of which were part of the 1934 American team in steel tip fountain pen. The four Hall of Famers highlighted on the JSA LOA include Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez and Heinie Manush. Others signers include Doc Cramer, Lefty O'Doul, Ebbing (Trainer), Earl Whitehill (sweet spot), E. McNair, Bing Miller, Rabbit Warstler, L. Sewell, E. McNair (x2), Pinky Higgins, Al Schacht, R. Wahberg, Tommy Thomas, Moe Berg and Roger Cramer (x2).
