1950's Make Mine Moxie Ted Williams Easel Back Counter Display

Classic 1950s diecut counter display advertising sign announces "Ted William Says-Make Mine Moxie for a LIFT the Healthful Way" and features a head-and-shoulders pose of Boston Red Sox Ted Williams in batting stance encouraging youngsters to drink Moxie. Like Berra with Yoo-Hoo, Ted Williams' name will always be associated with Moxie, the soft drink he promoted for over two decades.
The cardboard easel back on the reverse allows the sign to stand, just as it did on store checkout counters in the 1950s. The cardboard easel stand on the reverse is complete and intact. This is an outstanding example of one of the most classic of all player-endorsed advertising displays. Dimensions: 12 x 19 inches. Cardboard display is in EX-VG condition shows creasing on the bottom left corner and wear on the circular Moxie portion of the sign. Fading also appears through the top portion of the sign, but all in all is very desirable.
